The Quirky Barn

Tucked away about a mile south of the picturesque village of Overton on Dee, near Wrexham, The Quirky Barn is home to five individually styled, detached holiday properties, each with its own outside space with barbecue so you can make the most of long summer evenings or crisp countryside mornings. Beyond this, the properties share over eight acres of further grounds, including a heated swimming pool, a large play area, several small ponds complete with islands, a stone circle with fire pit and a “Dragon’s Lair”. Next to the pool is a sitting area, ideal for relaxing with a drink on a warm summer’s evening while taking in the magnificent views towards the Shropshire border – England lies just beyond the lower boundary of the grounds, where the Shellbrook stream marks the very edge of Wales. Whether you’re planning a romantic escape for two or a getaway with friends, the properties sleep between two and four guests, while a hot tub and sauna are available to book separately, subject to availability. Explore our properties below, find out what’s on offer in the local area, and book your stay with us today.

In case you are a returning guest: The Quirky Barn is the new name for Little Pentre Barn holiday homes. The accommodation and the hosts are the same, only the name has changed!
