The Stable is of traditional construction and looks out, over the deck and garden, on to a magnificent view towards the English Border. Whilst light and airy, the Stable has a very private, cosy feel, focused around the woodburner. There is a double bedroom and a wetroom together with a small kitchen.
This comfortable, newly refurbished stable close to Overton-on-Dee offers luxury accommodation, a woodburner, one double bedroom, a private decked area and lawned garden with valley views. The Stable is set in a magnificent location with uninterrupted views of the surrounding rolling countryside. Outside, there are eight acres of private grounds for children to explore and a heated outdoor swimming pool. The Stable provides a great base to explore the local area. You can enjoy scenic walks and cycle rides right from the door or visit the local meres, shops and pubs, while picturesque Llangollen, the Roman city of Chester and medieval Shrewsbury are all just a short drive away.
Accommodation
1 x ground floor double bedroom, wetroom shower, basin & WC. Small kitchen. Spacious main living area with dining area, woodburner & French doors to decking.
Oil filled electric heaters throughout, woodburner in living room. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, colour TV with Freeview, DVD player, stereo/CD player etc.
Other Things to Note
Electricity charged from coin meter. Bed linen & towels inc. in rent (please bring own swimming towels). Shared use of owner’s outdoor heated swimming pool (available June to August). Cot, highchair & stairgate available on request. Off road parking for 1 car. Bike shed storage. Private lawned garden with raised decking & furniture. BBQ. Note: This is a character dwelling with uneven floors and not suitable for the less mobile or very young children. Children must be supervised around the swimming pool/ponds. Pool available Jun-August. Sauna and hot tub at extra cost subject to availability. Sorry, no pets & no smoking. Shop & pub 1.5 miles.
What a beautiful place to stay. The view from the window and outside seating area were stunning. John was so welcoming and friendy, nothing was too much trouble.
